Review: Innisfree Creammellow lipsticks

Hi everyone,

Today marks my first official review on this blog,
I will be reviewing the Innisfree Creammellow lipsticks.

I purchased 5 shades from www.jolse.com, a korean cosmetics website, it took about 2 weeks to ship to Australia and the prices are extremely reasonable and affordable. There are 10 shades in total to choose from. They were $12.98 USD on the Jolse website, however they often have sales! And by often I mean weekly. Oh and a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Jolse in any way to write this review, I'm just a happy online shopper.

These are the swatches from the official Innisfree website, this will give you some idea as to what the colours look like on the lips however I wouldn't say they're super accurate.

The shades that I purchased were #1, #3, #6, #7, #9.

L-R #1, #3, #6, #7, #9

The lipsticks have 3.5g of product and appear in a simple but classy white packaging with the colour of the lipstick showing through on the bottom, making it easy to identify the shade when placed upside down.

L-R #1, #3, #6, #7, #9

Here is how they swatch on my hand,

L-R #1, #3, #6, #7, #9

Here are my lips bare with no product,

The lightest shade #1 Syrup Beige is a soft beige toned nude

The next shade #3 Cream Coral is one of their most popular shades, it is a peachy coral pink, extremely wearable for day time and is an innocent girly shade.

#6 Plum Pink is a lovely fuschia shade

#7 Cherry Fruit Red is a bright red, this is a more orange toned red when compared to #8, to me it is more wearable and great for the daytime. If you are afraid of reds, this is a great beginners red!

#9 Blueberry Burgundy, I love this one! I am a sucker for berry toned dark pinks. This shade reminds me of a sheer version of MAC's Rebel which I also adore. It was a bit difficult to capture the true colour of this lipstick so I took two different pictures.

Overall Thoughts?

Pros
  • Great pigmentation. Can be worn sheer or when applied heavily, coverage is definitely buildable.
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Moisturizing
  • Glossy finish
  • Beautiful selection of colours to choose from
  • No heavy scent or bad taste
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • May cling to dry patches if applied thickly
  • Wear time approximately 2 hours
  • Those who love matte will not enjoy the finish of this lipstick
In general I love this lipstick! It reminds me of the Revlon butter lipsticks, so if you love the formula of those you will surely enjoy this addition to your collection.

I hope this was a helpful review, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

Love, Allee
